Hope for the Homeless

The “Hope for the Homeless” project is an embodiment of human compassion, dedicated to restoring dignity to the destitute in Israel and fostering personal renewal through practical action. This is a critically important mission that transforms the distribution of food and clothing into profound emotional support, reminding those on the streets that they are not forgotten by society.

Today, the situation in Israel remains dire: according to official data, over 3,500 individuals are registered as homeless, though the actual numbers are significantly higher due to thousands of “invisible” people sleeping in parks and stations. With approximately 21% of the population living below the poverty line, state social services often lack the resources to reach everyone in need. Our project serves as an essential bridge, filling this gap and offering a real alternative to mere survival on the streets.

Our Core Activities:

• Hot Meals and Food Supplies: We provide daily nutritious meals to hundreds of people who lack access to a kitchen or the means to support themselves.
• Temporary Shelter and Lodging: The organization provides a safe place to sleep, where individuals can access clean bedding, showers, and essential rest.
• Medical and Hygiene Assistance: Our volunteers distribute hygiene kits and help those without insurance access basic medical services.
• Personal Support and Mentorship: We conduct counseling and support meetings, helping people find the inner strength to overcome crises through empowerment.
• Social Adaptation and Employment: We assist with restoring legal documents and finding work to break the cycle of homelessness and reintegrate into society.
